As you know, the dengue problems in Singapore is getting from bad to worse. I think it is time for all of us to take necessary precautions and preventive measures to protect our love ones from dengue.
But before that, perhaps a little discussion on repellents. Many Singaporeans are just thinking of using mosquito repellents that contains DEET and natural scented repellents such as Citronella and Lemongrass. Have you ever wondered, by repelling them, does this help to solve the problem? It does not! In fact, we are just helping to breed more of its population.
Therefore, we need to get rid of the source and also to give them a knockdown through proper repellents that are safe too. Those, as mentioned, are not insect repellents but rather, they are receptor blockers. It is a smell produced to distract the mosquitoes from attracting to us. Here is an article from the National Pesticide Information Centre about natural scented repellents: http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/citronellagen.html
There are quite a number of areas in Singapore that has been identified with high cases of dengue especially construction areas. For this period, our company would like to help construction companies battle against dengue and to keep their workers protected. We have already sold our CONTACK (Insect repellent and killer) to some construction companies to protect their workers from dengue. They trust our brand and we are proud to have their support. Please contact us if you would like to inquire more about our product and we offer special price for large orders for construction companies.
Remember, getting rid of the source is the main priority and to decrease its population.

Why Permethrin is a preferred insect repellent?
Why Permethrin repellents are still the best in the market?
This is because it is the only repellent that has both functions of repelling and killing against insect bites.
A press release from the US Army about Permethrin treated uniforms made compulsory. The best type of Permethrin is the water based Permethrin that has no smell, no oil and does not cause any stains.

Citronella and Lemongrass are receptor blockers that make mosquitoes unable to detect you. Those ingredients do not repel but act as a distraction for mosquitoes.
With the rise of dengue cases, you need to get rid of the source and not just repelling them. By repelling them, their population increases which causes the probability of us getting bitten with dengue.
