What is Pine Tree Oil?

Pine Tree Oil is extracted by steam distillation from the grey-greenish pine
needles of pine trees from Mount Changbai in Jilin.
BENEFITS OF PINE TREE OIL
The health benefits of pine tree oil
are attributed to its antibacterial, antiseptic, analgesic, diuretic,
energizing and aromatic properties. It has the ability to reduce inflammation; relieve
joint pain, arthritis,
gout and sore muscles; clear respiratory infections; clear eczema, acne, pimple,
psoriasis and other skin conditions; fight fungal and viral infections;
stimulate the mind and body and protect our home from a wide variety of germs. It
is one of the safer essential oils and practically harmless to human.
PRECAUTION FOR FIRST TIME USER
Pure Pine tree oil may be too
strong for those with sensitive skin. Test a small drop on your arm to check
for reaction. If you feel the irritation, dilute it with olive, lavender or
rosemary oil, etc. It blends well with most
essential oil for aromatherapy and other personal care products.
FOR
SKIN CARE
Pine Tree Oil has some properties which
are also found in tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil.
PTO can clear skin infections such as
pimples, acne, eczema, itching skin, psoriasis, etc. Apply oil directly on the infected
area.
FOR ARTHRITIS, JOINT PAIN, GOUT AND SORE
MUSCLES
Massage
the oil over aching spot for several minutes. Allow time for it to penetrate
into the skin to stimulate blood circulation. Dilute with Olive oil, if
necessary.
FOR RESPIRATORY INFECTION
Add 3-5
drops of PTO to a bowl of hot water. Cover your head with a towel and inhale
the steam through your nose and mouth. This will help to loosen phlegm and
provide gentle relief for colds and congestions.
NON-TOXIC SANITIZER AND DISINFECTANT
You can brand
your own J-Pine. Use a sprayer bottle filled with 200ml water. Add few drops of
PTO into the bottle and shake well for use as a disinfectant to sanitize your
home. A powerful agent against organism, it will remove germs, fungus, odour,
moulds, etc.
FOR LAUNDRY
Add a
few drops of PTO into the water just before you spin dry your linen and
clothes. It will give the linen nice fragrance and act as an effective insect repellent.
FOR SKIN CARE
Add 3-5 drops
of PTO to your Vitamin E lotion or moisturizer. Mix well and apply over skin
regularly. Condition your skin and keep germs away. It is also an effective
insect repellent
AROMATHERAPY
Add a
few drops of PTO into your hot bath or spa can help you to relax, de-stress and
rejuvenate. Mix with Lavender oil for massage. Combination of these oils will
give you the best fragrance. Spill a few drops on your pillow case or
hanky, breathe in deeply and slowly. Relax and visualize you are in pine
